"For I heard them say, Let us go to Dothan..." Gen 37:17
So, even though this is my first blog EVA, i'm gonna dive right in!!! Exactly a week ago at this moment I was in Dothan. I was overjoyed at the opportunity to spend this weekend with my favorite ppl EVA, Tori, "Momma" Kovach, Stephen, Emily, and probably my favorite Ally!! For as long as I have known these dear ppl, they have been the closest to my heart! The weekend started on a Fantabulous note, with me practically throwing watermelon across the Eastdale Mall and all over my very gracious host! It was accident ppl and one dern funny one!! I then was gifted with oppotunuty to prove that I could go without talkin to my best friend for more than 20 min (which, in effect, almost killed us both). =) Saturday night was one I was in dire need of! The preaching by Bro. Carrol was sensational!! Can I jus say, that most of the sweetest ppl in the world live in Dothan??? I was blessed to meet wonderful ppl such as Sis Regina and Bro Paul, parents of a dear friend. The rest of the night consisted of a surprise visit from my dear friend John Paul, Stephen "blessing" his burger with the very powerful method of the "laying on of hands", and Stephen staying up with me until 2:00 in the morning curling my hair. (Any that know me, are aware of such a feet that was). Sunday was fantabulous!! The messages were amazing and that night I had some much needed lessons (in the art of towel popping) and "chat time" with Stephen out by a beautiful tree until midnight.... these guys are the best right?? Any way Monday was a sad day... as all of us know, good things must end. =( However the ride home was not a dull one, after I helped make pnut brittle and continued both delivering and recieving my share of whelps from the wet towels present, Tori, Momma, Stephen, Alley, and I packed up and hit the road. On the way we had much needed bonding time. This weekend was one of breaking, strengthening, and then being placed back together by the Hands of the Potter! =) I look forward to my next trip to visit these lovely ppl and thier lovely city!
